I've been thinking about a new tissue labeled 855, it is a natural UV ray blocking tissue found in some types of austrailian coral. This is one of the things that evolution has provided for the coral... They were, and still are, often exposed to full sunlight at low tides, so over thousands of years they naturally have grown a tissue that protects them from the sun. Of course we just HAD to make a synthetic version to put on the market.... It is called Sunscreen 855.... but is this smart?... I beleive after time, that much like the coral humans may develope cancer resistant cells... but by blocking the UV rays unaturally will we hinder that prossece? By not developing a natural resistance will humans forever be doomed to use fake protection that nature created the natural way? Think about that... I did
In short:
Weather or not this is time travel is debatable... but assuming we had increadible telescopes we would be able to look back in time the instant we acheived a propulsion system capable of moving something faster than the speed of light... (Electron Propulsion FTW!!!)
Humans see light and light moves at a set speed... if we are in front of the lightwaves moving at the same speed as them... everything will appear still... because our speed won't allow a new layer of electrons to reach our eyes... and we will be stuck with the same image right in front of us... (This could cause electro-shadows... a more advance concept you can ask me about later)... If we move ahead... we will be looking back past another frame of electrons... thats why if the sun burned out... the earth would still see it and still get its warmth for 8 minuts... and pluto might have it for a few months... light travels and being ahead of it means you are looking back in time... always... even just a split second...
There is indeed something more constant than reality… More constant than time… Time travel is easily possible by the disruption of the space-time continuum (See the above Rant) … So if our past is being altered at this very moment, our minds would have no knowledge of the occurrence… think about going back in a time machine and being trapped because you altered history so that your machine was never made… in the future assuming you are still born, reality for you would be completely different, yet the fact that history had been altered would remain the same… this creates parallel realities… Lives we could have lived if we chose different paths… What if we had launched a WMD during the cold war…? We would be fucked right? What if someone today went back in time and launched that missile… Would our reality change or would our present state remain the same while some alternate reality was altered? Something has to remain constant to allow these parallel realities to occur simultaneously! Its shit like this that keeps me from sleeping!
